The dangers of coping
September 16, 2012
Many people are in a state of "coping". They may be stressed with their work, their home life, or they may be dealing with the loss of someone special, or you may just be plain overwhelmed with the pace of life. The danger with being in a state of coping is that it wears on you. Initially, you may have been dealing with everything pretty well. But one danger is that you get used to this new "normal". Then another stress piles on, and you cope with that, then another, and another--you get the picture. Before you know it, you are suffering from overwhelming worry, fear, or anxiety. You may be isolating yourself, be depressed, or be considering whether there is anything left to live for!
This is no way to go through life. Life is meant to be an adventure; with ups and downs. Too many of us don't face the toll of coping until we have chronic anxiety, or major physical ailments (heart attacks, stomach issues, headaches, etc).
You can get help that is very effective, and can guide you quickly into a better emotional state. Call today 905.599.0459 or 519.697.9640
