When is it going to be over?
March 1, 2013
Winter is a season that I get tired of. I love the beauty of the snow, but not the hassle of the cold, coats, shovelling, etc. It is just a lot of extra work. Being in counselling can be a lot like winter sometimes. You are forced into uncomfortable elements, and have a lot of work to do. You are constantly trying on new tools to see which ones will help alleviate the discomforts of life.

The great part is--that SPRING always comes. Spring brings new life, new colours, warmth, and a renewed appreciation for where we live. Somehow, we find a way to enjoy the work of preparing gardens and pruning bushes. In therapy, we see breakthroughs, and begin to experience warmth in our relationships, and we start to cut off the dead weight of unforgiveness, rejection, depression, and addictions. We begin to love and cherish our surroundings again.

If you are feeling like you are in the dead of winter, it is a good time to get to work, so that you can enter the spring season that lies just around the corner! Call or email today to set up that first appointment.
