I have been learning a lot about JOY and brain science lately. Joy is a state of peace and happiness that comes from accomplishment of goals, life satisfaction, relationships, or recovery from a negative state. 

A lack of JOY in our lives not only affects our emotional state, but also the chemistry in our brains! The mind/emotion connection 'short circuits', leaving us with a habitual negative response whenever we face challenges. The good news is, that we can learn some simple brain skills that can 'rewire' our mind/emotion connection, so that we can RETURN TO JOY.
